Best Way to Transfer Money back to the US?

Hello All,

Thank you Go Curry Cracker for your wonderful blog! I really enjoy reading it each week, the blog has certainly helped to shape my financial decisions and to gain confidence about how to work with money and make it work for me. I am hoping for some advice.

I recently took my first international teaching position in Thailand. The school pays my salary in Thai Baht. I have an investment account back in the US with Vanguard and I have a Charles Schwab checking account. I would like to transfer money from Thai Baht into my US accounts in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. Transferwise does not transfer baht to USD and while the bank here in Thailand will do it for me, the fees are very high. Has anyone found a good way to move money from baht to USD?
